Dr. Chandra Vadhana R.

Fulbright Post Doctoral Fellow, Stanford

Dr.Chandra Vadhana Radhakrishnan, a Femigrant from India, is a Fulbright Awardee, and a Visiting Postdoc Fellow at Stanford University. She is an author, published two poetry books, is a filmmaker, and is a startup coach for women-led businesses.

Dr. Chandra is currently pursuing research on Sustainable Entrepreneurship at the Gendered Innovations Lab, at Stanford University. Apart from being a Scholar, she is an accomplished woman entrepreneur who runs a non-profit organization, Prayaana Labs aiming at employability, and entrepreneurship development of girls and women.

She also runs an international women’s magazine SheSight and an eCommerce platform that sells women-made products. She is the first Indian woman to win a special recognition award for social entrepreneurship in the UNCTAD Empretec Women in Business Awards, 2018.

She believes that the world will be a better place with feminist leadership.
