January 26th marked a significant milestone for the Femigrants Foundation as we hosted our much-anticipated “Femigrants Annual Forum: ReSet. ReBuild.ReShape” event, uniting over 130 global immigrants in a spirit of unity and empowerment. Held at the prestigious Plug and Play Tech Center, the event brought together influential immigrants, expats, Fortune 500 executives, and industry leaders for an inspirational evening of growth and support.
Throughout the forum, attendees were treated to a diverse lineup of keynote and panel speakers who shared their insights on overcoming obstacles as immigrants, navigating career growth strategies, and exploring the intersection of social initiatives, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and artificial intelligence. The discussions also delved into the importance of mental health in our immigrant community, resonating deeply with many participants.
. .
“I must admit, this event exceeded my expectations,” remarked one of our first-time attendees. Such feedback reaffirms our commitment to consistently surpassing expectations, setting high standards, and striving for excellence in all we do at Femigrants.
The success of the Annual Forum was made possible by the dedication of our team, including six volunteer event members, four board members, and a sponsor photographer who offered a red carpet photo session, adding a touch ofglamour to the evening. Special mention goes to my husband, an unofficial volunteer whose unwavering support played an integral role in making the event a success.
. .
Unlike traditional workshop-style events, Femigrants doesn’t just invite speakers; we cultivate lasting connections within our community. Our focus is on empowering immigrants to build relationships with successful immigrant leaders and offering resources beyond the event itself.
