The Femigrants Foundation recently hosted an elegant All-White Leadership Brunch, which founder Aytakin organized in just 40-45 days while working full-time.
Originally planned for 30 guests, the event’s popularity led to over 40 registrations, filling the venue to capacity for the third consecutive event. Despite limited resources and no sponsors, Aytakin’s determination, along with the help of close friends and volunteers, brought this brunch to life with a Turkish-style homemade meal and an authentic, welcoming atmosphere.
The event brought together immigrants from around the globe, with attendees from countries such as Brazil, Poland, Iran, China, and Ukraine.
Speakers included Kanykei Omurzakova, whose mother traveled from Kyrgyzstan just in time to support her.
Notably, 25% of attendees were repeat guests who brought friends to experience the Femigrants community, reflecting the event’s powerful network-building appeal.
Speakers like Anastasia Blackman and Dr. Chandra Vadhana R. shared insights on leadership and personal growth, making the brunch a memorable experience for all.
Through hard work, commitment, and a genuine focus on diversity, this brunch became a unique celebration of connection, empowerment, and shared immigrant experiences.
