Recognition turns quiet hard work into bold leadership that changes the world.“
In 2023, I stood on a London stage, tears of joy streaming down my face as I received double gold awards for my work supporting immigrant women. To be acknowledged—not just for my achievements, but for my journey as an immigrant—was deeply moving.
When Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, came to the stage, hugged me, and said, “You are a stronger woman than you think. Keep up your great work”. In that moment, I realized how deeply recognition can touch a life and how much it can mean to be acknowledged.
That day, I set a new mission: to turn my gratitude into action by building a movement where immigrant women changemakers everywhere are acknowledged, honored, celebrated, and empowered. Two years later, that promise is becoming reality, and I invite you to join me in this journey.
