According to the United Nations, there are approximately 281 million international migrants worldwide, representing 3.6% of the global population. Among them, female immigrants hold a significant space, making up half of the global migrant population and bringing unique strengths and talents to the communities they join. Aware of the struggles female immigrants face during the process, the founder of the Femigrants FoundationAytakin (Ika) Aliyeva, has successfully relaunched her organization after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The uncertainty surrounding the pandemic resulted in many businesses and other organizations shutting down indefinitely, causing significant economic ramifications. After a temporary hiatus caused by the global pandemic, Femigrants persevered and diligently prepared for its highly anticipated relaunch in March 2023.

Aytakin made a public announcement on her Instagram account, sharing her happiness and eagerness to help women through her non-profit foundation.
